Pumanaw na ang Duke of Edinburgh ng Britanya na si Prince Philip, asawa ni Queen Elizabeth II. Kinumpirma mismo ang balita ng Buckingham Palace.
Pumanaw si Prince Philip sa edad na 99 sa Windsor Castle, umaga ng April 9, 2021, oras sa Britanya.
"It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

"His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle," ayon sa pahayag ng Royal Family.
"The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.
"Further announcements will be made in due course."
Isang Online Book of Condolence naman ang inilabas ng palasyo sa royal website para sa mga taong nais magpahatid ng pakikiramay sa Royal Family.

"An Online Book of Condolence is now available on the Royal website for those who wish to send a personal message of condolence," ayon sa isang tweet ng The Royal Family.
Nakiusap din ang palasyo sa publiko na mag-donate na lang sa mga charity sa halip na magbigay ng floral tribute para kay Prince Philip.
"During the current public health situation, Books of Condolence will not be available for the public to sign.
"The Royal Family ask that members of the public consider making a donation to a charity instead of leaving floral tributes in memory of The Duke."
Nito lang Pebrero nang mapabalitang isinugod sa ospital si Prince Philip at nanatili ng ilang linggo.
