On behalf of Queen Elizabeth, the palace released a statement addressing the allegations made by Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex previously gave an exclusive interview where they revealed some unpleasant experiences related to the British royal family.

Meghan admitted that there were some concerns among the royal family regarding how dark her baby's skin would be while she was pregnant. She also claimed that she was not given any help with regards to her mental health.

KAMI learned that the palace has released a statement issued on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II to USA TODAY as a response to Harry and Meghan's devastating interview.

"The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning," the statement read. "While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."
