A staff or aide at Buckingham Palace tested positive for coronavirus. This resulted in a lot of fears for the Queen's health, saying that she's at risk of suffering from an infection. The Queen is now at Windsor Castle, together with Prince Philip, on self-quarantine.

As per The Sun, the concerned staff already had the virus before Her Majesty left Buckingham Palace. Economic Times explained that due to the high number of personnel, around 500, working at the palace, it is not improbable that one could be infected by the virus.

When asked about the status of the staff who tested positive, a spokesperson of Buckingham Palace revealed that the personal information of their staff could not be divulged.

As for the Queen, her statement on the coronavirus, which was supposed to be televised, was canceled, reported by Republic World. Many speculated as to the reason behind the cancellation of the queen's statement, but reports stated that they would only want to limit the number of individuals to come close to the Queen.
