In GMA News report, Reyes stated that they were not arrested per se but they were simply brought to the barangay hall and got reprimanded.
According to Reyes, they were also allowed to go home shortly after being reprimanded.
He also explained that he was invited to the game and thought that it already obtained a permit.

A video of the said incident, showing the Billiards Legend’s supposed arrest, likewise went viral. The spokesperson of Laguna provincial police then clarified that Reyes was not arrested in the raid.
