As she was growing up, she noticed that she had darker skin, knees and scars compared to her schoolmates.

Although the insecurity about her darker skin never went away, Bianca said that she had learned to love and accept herself.

"I think ang insecurity ko ay usually insecurity din ng mga morena. Ito 'yung hindi pantay na kulay, lalong lalo na nung nasa grade school ako, high school ako, 'yung parang proseso ng learning to love yourself pa 'yun 'di ba, 'pag mas bata ka. So, napapansin ko na mas maitim 'yung tuhod ko kaysa sa iba. 'Pag may peklat ako sobrang maitim kumpara doon sa iba. Ang tagal mawala nung peklat, or kung may pimple ang tagal nung mark.
"Ang insecurity I think hindi naman siya nawawala. Matututo ka lang na mabuhay with it. And ang feeling ko diyan sa insecurity, kung in-accept mo siya about you, kahit anong bashing mga tao tungkol sa 'yo, tungkol sa bagay na 'yun, dahil alam mo siya sa sarili mo at accepted mo siya, okay ka," Bianca said.
