Aside from Frankie Pangilinan who issued an apology for their initial tweets on the Dacera case, another celebrity took to Twitter and likewise apologized.
Bianca Gonzalez owned up to her mistake and said that she was the one who posted "rápe" because authorities said that it was rápe.
She also said that she was the one who used the justice hashtag.
"I am one of those who posted using the term "rápe" and the hashtag justice because the authorities said it was rápe. I feel ashamed but also so confused with the conflicting reports. The call for justice remains, but justice to find the truth for both Christine and the accused."
She also said:
"My sympathies go out to Christine Dacera's family and friends, to everyone who might have been falsely accused in the news, what a nightmare this must be. I sincerely apologize for my tweet that added to the noise that it was "rápe." Sana lumabas ang katotohanan."
Friends of Christine Dacera gave an interview to ABS-CBN and recounted how good their friend really was. One of her friends, Andrei Barretto, candidly recalled his last conversation with Christine on New Year's Eve on IG. Andrei said that he replied to her story and that while he told Christine that he was at home, she told him that she booked a room with friends. When Andrei told her, baka "mapano ka dyan," she replied that it's negative because her companions were "mas babae pa" than her.
Expert forensic pathologist Dr. Raquel Fortun explained that it would be very unusual for a young individual to die of rupture aortic aneúrysm and mentioned that the common cause of such is high blood pressure. She added that it is hard to connect drugs or intoxication and thoracic aneúrysm but noted that it would have been best if blood and urine samples were taken from Dacera for toxicology. Fortun also noted that based on the autopsy report, there was no sign of rape because she said, seeing spermatozoa is inconclusive of rape and added on zooming in on the possibility of drúgs causing death.
