Known as the "Pantasya ng Bayan," Joyce Jimenez was introduced in local showbiz as a sexy star.
She was among the most in-demand cover girl for men's magazine in the '90s. Her last cover for the said magazine was in 2007.
The actress married Paul Ely Egbalic in August 2008. He is a Filipino American and a member of the United States Air Force.
The couple was blessed with two girls and a boy. Jorja Ely, her eldest is now nine years old, Jaysen Elie, 8 and Julian Elysson, her only son, is five years old.

Joyce Jimenez was born in Los Angeles, California to Filipino migrant parents. Her full name is Joyce Herrín Reintegrado-Egbalic. Jimenez grew up in the Los Ángeles area where she studied at Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, California. She was accepted at UCLA but decided to forgo schooling to move to the Philippines; most recently she had a college degree from a university in Australia.
In 1996, Jimenez participated in the Miss Taguig - Hollywood pageant. Although she did not win the title, she did win the Miss Photogenic title.
