VP Leni Robredo commends Magalong's sense of accountability

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong resigned from his post as the country's contact tracing czar following his attendance at the controversial party of celebrity host Tim Yap in Baguio City.
Yap held a birthday party, which was attended by high profile individuals including celebrities, and Magalong and his wife.

His resignation elicited a comment from the Vice President. VP Leni Robredo clearly appreciated what Magalong did.
"Kapag ganito ang mga public officials, 'yung respeto ng tao sa institusyon mabu-boost, na ýung kapag may kasalanan, inaako ýung kasalanan, walang pagdepensa sa sarili," Robredo told CNN.
On ABS-CBN, Robredo stated that Magalong's resignation was admirable.

DOT Regional Director Ortega did not elaborate on the reason behind his controversial move of addressing Bongbong Marcos as vice president when the duly elected one is Leni Robredo. She also narrated all the projects that were completed under the office of the vice president. Of course, Ogie did not hesitate to ask about VP Leni's love life, if there is a possibility of someone making her heart beat again.
