May 31, 2020 marked the 35th death anniversary of 1980's young actress, Pepsi Paloma.

KAMI learned that Pepsi starred in a number of films, and was very popular during that decade.

According to Esquire, it was in 1982 when Pepsi went public with a case, together with a fellow actress Guada Guarin and that the said case was withdrawn in exchange for a public apology of prominent personalities in showbiz back then.

Even after she went public with the case, she still did a lot of movie roles, the final one prior to her death was in "Room 69."

It was in 1985 when the young actress ended her life. Both Sarsi Emmanuelle and Janet Bordon stated, as per PhilNews, that Pepsi was silent and would often be alone when taping. Janet even mentioned that had she known that she had problems, she would have asked.

It can be recalled that Sen. Tito Sotto once asked Inquirer to take down articles on Pepsi Paloma, which the news outfit also did.
