Biography
Aamir Khan was born on 14th March 1965 as Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. He is the son of the late Tahir Hussain (father) who served as a film producer and Zeenat Hussain (mother).
He is the eldest kid among four siblings. He has two younger sisters, Nikkhat Khan and Farhat Khan, and one younger brother Faisal Khan who is an actor. Aamir has a nephew by the name Imran Khan who is also an Indian actor.
The actor attended J.B Petit School for his pre-primary education before joining St. Anne’s High School, Bandra. He attended Bombay Scottish School in Mahim for his 9th and 10th grade. He completed his 12th grade from Narsee Monjee College in Mumbai.
In school, he played tennis in the state level championship where he emerged as the state level champion.

Wife and children
So far, the actor has been married twice. He first got married on 18th April 1986 to Reena Dutta. The duo had two lovely children, a son named Junaid Khan and a daughter by the name Ira Khan. After 15 years of marriage, the couple divorced in December 2002. Reena was given custody of their two children.
He got married for the second time on 28th December 2005 to Kiran Rao. They welcomed their firstborn son together in 2011 and named him Azad Rao Khan.

Recently, the actor came out to narrate how he fell in love with Kiran Rao after undergoing a divorce with Reena Dutta. This news came to light after a video of Aamir speaking on a Chinese news channel was unearthed.
I met Kiran when I was doing Lagaan (2001). She was one of the ADs (assistant directors) on that, but at that time, we didn't have any relationship, and we were not even great friends. She was one of the people in the unit. It was after my separation and divorce after some time that I met her again. In that moment of trauma, her phone came, and I talked to her on the phone for half an hour. And when I put the phone down, I said, My God! I feel so happy when I talk to her. It struck me in that instant that when I am talking to her, I am so happy, he added.
