The professional basketball player was born on 17th January 1982 in Chicago, Illinois in the United States of America. His parents are Dywane Wade Sr. and Jolinda Wade. He has an older sister by the name Tragil Wade. His parents separated when he was just four months old.
He has an additional three stepbrother from his father's second marriage. These stepbrothers go by the names Darnell McDaniel, Demetris McDaniel and Kodhmus McDaniel.
He studied at Harold L. Richards High School in Oak Lawn. Later on, he joined Marquette University for his college studies.

In 2003, he joined Miami Hate as the 5th pick, and as a rookie. He attained an average score of 16.2 points per game for a total of 61 games. He was the Marquette’s highest pick in the NBA Draft.
Chicago Bulls (2016- 2017)
In 2016, Dwyane was drafted by Chicago Bulls, where he played for just a single year. He joined the team on a two-year contract valued at $47 million after declining Miami Heat’s deal worth $40 million. He, therefore, parted with Miami Heat on bad terms and thus went on to play for Chicago Bulls. A year later, Dwyane and Chicago Bulls agreed on a contract payout.
Cleveland Cavaliers (2017-2018)
He joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in September 2017. Unfortunately, Wade and LeBron James were on bad terms in the team since the coach had the plans to bench him. After Cleveland Cavaliers lost to Orlando Magic, Dwyane agreed to be benched.
Return to Miami Heat (2018-2019)
