Lee Yoo Joo, a popular South Korean yoga instructor, has died at the age of 35, her yoga studio Yogaum confirmed.

In a statement released on Instagram, the studio said Lee passed away on February 18. The cause of her death was mentioned.

“We have a sudden heartbreaking news to share. Teacher Lee Yoo-jo passed away yesterday (February 18th),” it mournfully announced.

“There will be no separate funeral or mortuary according to the wishes of the bereaved family, and we will operate a space until this Friday where we can say our last greetings at the yoga room,” it continued.

“Please pray that the soul of teacher Lee Yoo Joo, who brightened the world with her special talent, can rest in peace,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, her last Instagram post published the day before her passing caught the attention of her followers.

She posted a couple of photos of herself posing for selfies inside the car. The celebrity also wrote a cryptic caption along with the snaps.

“Bye,” the short caption reads.

Meanwhile, more details about the untimely demise of South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron have been disclosed. As per The Korea Times, Seoul's Seongdong Police Station said there were no signs of forced entry or foul play, nor did they find a will or note left by the K-drama star. Kim Sae-ron was known for her roles in “The Man from Nowhere” and “Bloodhounds,” among others.

Lee Joo Sil, a veteran South Korean actress, has tragically passed away at 80 years old. According to Koreaboo, Lee Joo-sil died on February 2 at 10:20 a.m. while receiving treatment for her illness. Her agency, 1230culture, confirmed the unfortunate news to Soompi with a statement that partly read, “Approximately three months ago, actress Lee Joo Sil’s health declined, and she was diagnosed with stomach cancer after an examination from the hospital.” The veteran South Korean actress starred in numerous projects including “Train to Busan” and “Squid Game 2.”
