Kiko Pangilinan, proud na pinost paghatid sa anak sa paaralan: “Miel’s first day of school as a 12th grader”

- The former legislator said that as they have done in the previous years, he would be the one who would drive them to school on the first day of opening

Former Senator Kiko Pangilinan proudly posted on his Instagram account a photo of him taking his daughter Miel to her school.

According to Sen. Kiko, it is the first face-to-face school opening for Miel after two years when the country plunged into an uncertain period brought about by the pandemic.

The former legislator said that this would be Miel’s last year in high school as she is already in 12th grade.

“Miel’s first day of school as a 12th grader!” Sen. Kiko wrote in his post.

“First face to face school opening in 2 years for them and Miel’s last year as a high schooler,” he added.

Sen. Kiko then said that as they have been doing since pre-school, he would be the one to drive them to school on the first day of classes.

“As has been the case since their pre school school openings, i drive them to school on their first day,” he said.

The former legislator then remarked how fast time flies, adding a word to this statement that might indicate sighing.

“Ang bilis ng panahon talaga. Haay!” former Sen. Kiko wrote.

In June of this year, Miel captured the attention of netizens when she came out declaring that she is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Francis Pancratius Nepomuceno Pangilinan, better known as Sen. Kiko, is a Pinoy lawyer and politician currently serving as a Senator of the Republic of the Philippines. He was born on August 24, 1963 and has been very active on social issues since his student days way back in 1985.

Last month, the former legislator also shared on his Instagram account his bonding moment with his kids at the grocery. Sen. Kiko revealed that it was his first day as a private citizen. As per the post of Kiko, a trip to the grocery was his daddy and kids' bonding moment since KC was 11 years old. The kids were dressed in casual clothes and the sparkle on Kiko's eyes shows that he's happy to be bonding with his kids.

In June, he also reacted to the coming out phase of his daughter Miel. The comment of the senator on Miel was shared by his wife Sharon Cuneta. Kiko was telling Miel that he loves her very much and no matter what happens, he and Sharon will always be there. Without saying anything more, Kiko said "I love you my Yellie Bellie."
