Late actress Susan Roces’ wake was attended by presumptive President Bongbong Marcos.
KAMI learned that Roces’ adopted daughter, Senator Grace Poe, uploaded photos of Marcos’ visit on her Instagram account.

The heartwarming pics show Marcos conversing and trying to comfort Senator Poe.
According to Senator Poe, she is grateful to Marcos for his kind gesture toward her and her late mom.
In the comments section, netizens praised BBM for taking the time to honor a legend in Philippine showbiz and comforting her loved ones.
“Pasasalamat sa paglalaan ng inyong mahalagang panahon para magbigay-galang sa alaala ng aking ina at sa inyong pakikidalamhati sa aming pamilya sa panahong ito ng aming pagluluksa,” Senator Poe wrote on Instagram.

Susan Roces was a Filipina actress who became one of the most acclaimed and most successful celebrities in the Philippines. She married “Da King” on December 25, 1968, and adopted a daughter who is now Senator Grace. In 2004, FPJ died at the age of 65 after suffering from a stroke and was later on described by doctors as multiple organ failure. Susan passed away on May 20 at the age of 80 due to cardiac arrest.
In a previous report by KAMI, Actress Susan Roces and Sen. Grace Poe commemorated the 79th birth anniversary of FPJ. The two important women in the life of “Da King” decided to have a simple celebration. They thanked the supporters and also Coco Martin for continuing the legacy of FPJ.
Earlier, Sen. Grace Poe visited the grave of Fernando Poe Jr. for his 16th death anniversary. She posted a photo of her lighting candles in front of his father’s tomb. The commemoration was different from the previous years due to the pandemic. The senator expressed that even if Da King’s loved ones could not gather, he remains in the heart of and memory of everyone.
