Raffy Tulfo, popular TV and social media personality, has just aired his honest opinion on the drug war that the present administration is known for.

According to Idol Raffy, as what he is often called by many, the drug war was "definitely a failure."

He said this during an interview on ABS-CBN News Channel.

Aside from calling it a failure, Tulfo also added that the President himself admitted such failure.

"Definitely a failure, siya (President Rodrigo Duterte) mismo umamin niyan. Kasi sinabi niya in 6 months’ time maso-solve na niya ang problema sa drugs," Tulfo said during an interview.

"Pero hindi e, hindi nangyari yun, and then lately, siya mismo umamin na ‘hindi ko pala kaya, akala ko kaya,’" said Tulfo.

The senatorial aspirant then went on to criticize the house-to-house anti-drug program more popularly known as "Oplan Tokhang," where operatives visit suspected drug users or pushers at home and warn them against illegal drug activities.

"Kulang eh, one step further dapat iyon," said the broadcaster.

Tulfo is advocating to build more rehab centers for drug addicts, following the law of supply and demand, wherein if there would be fewer users, then the volume of drug supply will also consequently be reduced.

Raffy Tulfo is a known broadcaster. He is also more popularly called as Idol Raffy. He is currently running as a senator in Halalan 2022.

Raffy also said goodbye to Frontline Pilipinas. There's a mixture of happiness and sadness that he is leaving Frontline. He already entrusted the program to his co-anchor Cheryl Cosim.
