Raffy Tulfo on getting bashed by Duterte supporters: “Na-misunderstood nila ako”

Raffy Tulfo, who is running for senator in the 2022 Election, was recently interviewed by Karen Davila on the ANC show “Headstart.”

KAMI learned that during the interview, Davila talked to Tulfo about him getting bashed weeks ago by some of the supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Some of Duterte’s supporters unsubscribed from Tulfo’s YouTube channel after commenting about the potential clash between the "16 million vs 42 million or 50 million.” He was comparing the number of people who voted for Duterte in the 2016 Election and the number of subscribers on ABS-CBN’s YouTube channel.
According to Tulfo, the bashers misunderstood his comments, saying that he was just expressing his heartbreak for the thousands of ABS-CBN employees who lost their jobs because of the franchise renewal crisis.

“I’m pro-manggagawa na naapi, nawalan ng trabaho. In this case I know mahigit 10,000 na empleyado ng ABS-CBN na nawalan ng trabaho because of that.
“Ilan sa kanila ang may pinapagatas, may relatives na inaaalagaan...paano na yun, nai-stop yun lahat,” Tulfo told Davila.
Raffy Tulfo is a journalist and program host, most famous for his YouTube program that has millions of subscribers. His Youtube channel is one of the most successful in the Philippines, with over 21 million subscribers now.
He became beloved for helping ordinary people get justice against people who take advantage of them.
He has also featured celebrities on his iconic program. China Roces complained about her partner, Tim Sawyer, but Raffy was able to help the two reconcile with each other.
In another high-profile controversy, Raffy Tulfo was also able to help two celebrities patch their issues. John Regala and Chuckie Dreyfus were able to find peace with Raffy’s mediation after they threw accusations against each other on the show.
