In the October 14, 2021 episode of “Cristy Ferminute”, Nanay Cristy has reacted to the director’s statement that he felt pressured in the Kapamilya noontime show.
“Kasi ang sabi niya. 'It's not about the money... Ang totoo nito, hindi na healthy ang samahan namin doon dahil maraming naglilider-lideran.'”
At one point in her commentary, Nanay Cristy dropped a name that she thinks Direk Bobet’s “lider-lideran” remark was referring to.

The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. Aside from his projects, Vice has been applauded for his frank comments regarding current issues in the Philippines.
Vice Ganda’s vlog with Ion Perez and Ryan Bang uploaded on February 7 then resurfaced online. This, after Direk Bobet Vidanes emotionally explained in an episode of “Lunch Out Loud” that he left “It’s Showtime” because it was not healthy for him anymore. In Vice’s old vlog, the comedian revealed that he was surprised and clueless about Direk Bobet’s decision. He frankly opened up as well that he was offended by what Direk Bobet did.
