Ogie Diaz recently had an honest reaction to Direk Bobet Vidanes breaking his silence on why he left ABS-CBN and “It’s Showtime”.
It can be recalled that in an episode of “Lunch Out Loud”, Direk Bobet said he left the Kapamilya noontime show because it was not healthy for him anymore.

On his YouTube channel ‘Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update’, Ogie said that if he was Direk Bobet, he would choose to keep mum on the issue.
“If I were Direk, kung ako lang naman si Direk, sana hindi na siya nagsalita. Sana pinromote niya na lang 'yung LOL,” the talent manager said.

“Pero hindi naman natin maalis kay Direk kung ano 'yung mga damdamin niya towards 'Showtime', sa staff at sa mga host nito, hindi ba? Kaya lang, siyempre kung ako 'yung management ng LOL, okay ba sa 'kin na 'yung ibang show ang pinag-usapan, hindi 'yung show ko,” he furthermore said.
“Siguro lang, naikumpara ni Direk 'yung experience niya sa LOL at experience niya sa 'It's Showtime',” Ogie added.
Bobet Vidanes or Direk Bobet is a prominent director in the country popular for his shows under ABS-CBN Network like "Pilipinas, Game KNB?", and "It's Showtime". In 2020, however, the director stunned Kapamilya fans when he left ABS-CBN and his noontime show for good.
Vice Ganda’s vlog with Ion Perez & Ryan Bang premiered on February 7 then resurfaced online. This, after Direk Bobet Vidanes emotionally explained in an episode of “Lunch Out Loud” that he left “It’s Showtime” because it was not healthy for him anymore. In Vice’s old vlog, the comedian revealed that he was surprised and clueless about Direk Bobet’s decision. He frankly opened up as well that he was offended by what Direk Bobet did.
Cristy Fermin, in the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute”, also reacted to Direk Bobet’s statements saying that someone was trying to make "lider-lideran" in the show. The entertainment columnist then dropped Vice Ganda's name whom she thinks Direk Bobet’s remark was referring to.
