Simon Kapindit Jr., popularly known online as Super Estong, died after he was reportedly el*ctrocuted while singing at a videoke in a resort in Culasi, Antique. The incident was featured in a report by GMA's 24 Oras, which cited information from GMA Regional TV.

The 23-year-old content creator was known for his cheerful online videos as a member of Team Ragumo. His sudden passing saddened his followers, friends, and loved ones who had been supporting his content.
According to the report, the incident happened on Monday while the content creator was enjoying a videoke session at a resort. He was immediately brought to the hospital after the el*ctrocution but passed away the following day.
Police in Culasi are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities are looking into whether there may have been lapses on the part of the resort owner or the owner of the videoke machine.

As part of the investigation, the Bureau of Fire Protection requested the assistance of an electrician to examine the electrical setup involved in the incident.
The report also shared that investigators have yet to receive a formal statement from the resort owner.
Meanwhile, Super Estong's girlfriend said the family intends to pursue legal action as they seek accountability.
She recalled her last conversation with him before the tragedy.
"Ang last na akong conversation na naghamba lang siya sa akin sir na makanta ako."
She also disputed assumptions that the victim's body was wet when the el*ctrocution happened, saying he was not wet at the time of the incident.
The Bureau of Fire Protection took the opportunity to remind the public to observe electrical safety at all times, especially when using appliances or electrical equipment.
An official said, "Kung alam mo naman sa sarili mo nga basa ka iiwasan na magsaksak dahil basa pa ang kamay mo. At saka dapat naka-tsinelas para hindi connected sa ground."
The reminder emphasized avoiding contact with electrical devices when hands or the body are wet and wearing proper footwear to reduce the risk of electric shock.
Before the report ended, GMA News said its team had already reached out to the resort owner to obtain a statement regarding the incident. However, no response had been received as of the airing of the report.
