The incidents were featured in GMA's Unang Balita through a report by Gabriel Gonzalez. According to the report, CCTV footage and accounts from several residents suggest that the same woman may be involved in a series of alleged thefts in the city.

One of the reported incidents happened around 2 p.m. on Monday in Barangay Sipac Almacen. A senior citizen was resting inside his home when a woman wearing a black T-shirt entered the house. CCTV footage showed her approaching a sling bag hanging near the bed and taking the victim's wallet before putting it back.

The money was intended to buy medicine for the victim's bedridden father, making the loss even more difficult for the family.

Another incident happened around 3:30 p.m. in Barangay Bagong Bayan South. Residents noticed the same woman walking back and forth inside a compound before entering one of the houses. She left shortly afterward, and the homeowner later discovered that a cellphone being charged inside the house was missing.

According to the victim's nephew, they immediately checked a neighbor's CCTV camera after noticing the phone had disappeared.

"Nagulat kami babae t's sabi ko hindi pamilyar."

They later posted the woman's photo online in hopes of identifying her. After the post circulated, other people reportedly reached out and claimed they had also become victims.

"Kasi may nag-reach out po sa akin na ibang naging victim niya."

Around 4 p.m., the woman was again spotted entering the residence of the chairman of Barangay Bagong Bayan North. Fortunately, the official's child noticed her inside the house and immediately confronted her.
