The victim, a 36-year-old head teacher of Naga Elementary School, was discovered in a grassy area in Barangay Alang-alang on the morning of June 8, according to reports from authorities.
Police investigators from the Quinapondan Municipal Police Station said the educator was last seen on the evening of June 6 riding a motorcycle with a 22-year-old man identified only as alias "Joel." Another individual, an 18-year-old identified as alias "Jeric," was reportedly following them on a separate motorcycle.
Based on the investigation, the victim and the two suspects had allegedly communicated through social media and arranged to meet before the incident. Authorities said the victim supposedly refused to give money to the suspects, which investigators believe may have led to the fatal attack.
