A 40-year-old delivery rider lost his life after he was allegedly attacked by two siblings in Bocaue, Bulacan, in what authorities believe was a senseless act of violence involving intoxicated suspects.

According to a report aired on GTV News’ “Balitanghali” on Friday, the victim had gone to the area simply to deliver a product when the incident took place.

Investigators said the rider was suddenly assaulted by the suspects, who were reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the attack.

Police investigation revealed that one of the suspects allegedly stabbed the victim while the other reportedly shot him.

CCTV footage from the area reportedly captured the victim crying during the horrifying incident, adding to the emotional impact of the case.

Authorities said the suspects fled the scene immediately after the attack. However, they were later tracked down and arrested by law enforcement officers. The siblings did not provide any statement following their arrest.

The motive behind the killing remains under investigation, although initial information suggested that the victim may have simply been “tripped on” or randomly targeted by the suspects.

Meanwhile, police are still attempting to reach the victim’s relatives to gather additional information and obtain a statement from the family regarding the tragic incident.

The case has drawn reactions online, with many netizens expressing sympathy for the victim and calling for justice over the brutal killing of a worker who was only carrying out his job at the time of the attack.

In another incident, a 45-year-old woman was killed in Bocaue after she was allegedly attacked by her younger half-brother following an argument reportedly linked to fare money. Authorities said the victim sustained multiple fatal wounds during the confrontation and was declared dead before reaching the hospital. Police later arrested the 33-year-old suspect, who is expected to face a murder complaint in connection with the case.

Meanwhile, authorities in Bokod arrested a 37-year-old man for allegedly killing his 74-year-old mother inside their community. The incident came to light after a resident discovered human remains partially buried in a shallow grave nearby. Police are continuing their investigation to establish the motive behind the crime.
