Denson, the son of Abegail's employer, shared a video showing her looking shocked and emotional. The dinner was organized to celebrate her birthday and to thank her for her hard work.
Abegail couldn't help but cry as she tasted familiar Filipino dishes. According to Denson, "She became emotional the moment she tasted Filipino food."
In the video, Denson mentioned that in Abegail's 10 years of working as a caregiver, this was the very first time an employer of hers had done something like this for her.

"Even the dad is crying ah."
"Bless this family for recognizing her hard work."

"Everyone deserves to feel loved and extra special on their birthdays."
"Those are very good people. They treat her well because she treats their father well."
"Silent gratitude is our way. Gifts and ang baos to our helpers, thanking them for their love and hard work in our family."
As previously reported by KAMI, Filipina domestic worker Rhodora Alcaraz arrived in the Philippines after rescuing a 3-month-old baby during a deadly Hong Kong fire. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos met Alcaraz at NAIA during the opening of new airport facilities. The November blaze killed at least 160 people and is considered the world’s deadliest residential fire since 1980. Police have arrested multiple individuals linked to construction work and faulty fire alarms at the apartment complex.
Meanwhile, OFW couple Donnabelle Lee and Jeffrey Luage brought home 12 rescued dogs from Kuwait to Sibonga, Cebu. The dogs were originally abandoned as puppies outside their workplace in Kuwait. Authorities ordered the demolition of their shelter, prompting the couple to bring the dogs to the Philippines.
