One of the shooting victims from the recent road rage incident in Antipolo has finally shared his side.

In an interview with Jessica Soho on 'Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,' Davis explained that he was only trying to break up the fight.

He was with his wife and their three children, heading home when they encountered the SUV driver and the motorcycle riders.

Upon seeing them exchanging blows, he got out of his e-tricycle and tried to restrain one of the motorcycle riders.

He said, also based on a video, the rider got mad at him and was seen pointing fingers at him.

The riders then continued punching the SUV driver; little did they know, he was armed with a gun.

Davis said he was the one who got shot and was hit on the chest. He's still in the hospital, trying to recover from the gunshot.

He also said he regretted trying to stop the fight, but was glad that he was the one shot and not his wife, who was also by his side at that moment.

In an interview with EJ Gomez of GMA 7's 'Unang Balita,' unlike the accusations being thrown at him, the suspect said he didn't try to scrape over the riders. He said he was driving his SUV fast because he was trying to catch up to another vehicle that they were convoying with. However, a video surfaced showing what happened before the punching and shooting incident.

In another news related to this, in a breaking news shared by One PH Facebook page, one of the victims in the Antipolo road rage incident has passed away. This was confirmed today in a breaking news report, courtesy of News 5 of TV 5. In a video P/Lt. Col. Ryan Lopez Manongdo, chief of police of Antipolo City Police Station, said the victim, who was shot in the head, passed away. Manongdo also said in the breaking news update that they will be updating the case that they will file against the suspect.
