A woman was found dead inside a lodging house room in Mariveles, Bataan, while the man who checked in with her is now being sought by authorities.

According to a report by Jeric Pasillo on GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon, police said the 35-year-old victim checked in with a man around 2:00 a.m.
However, by 10:00 a.m., a room attendant discovered her lifeless body, covered in blood with a pillow over her face.
Lodging house employees reported hearing an argument from the victim's room before the incident.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Dennis Orbista, chief of the Mariveles Police Station, stated that the victim had bruises on her face and a pillow over her head.
"Bugbog 'yung mukha niya tapos may nakatakip na unan sa mukha. Ongoing pa rin ang crime doctor doon sa kanyang result, hinihintay a namin," said Orbista.
Authorities are still awaiting the results of the victim’s medical examination as the investigation continues.
The victim’s relatives are calling for the suspect to surrender.
“Sa lalaking gumawa nito sa mama ko, huwag ka nang magtago, huwag mo na kaming pahirapan. Sumuko ka na. Hindi ka man lang naawa sa aming magkakapatid, lalaki kaming walang nanay,” the victim's son pleaded.
Police are working to determine the suspect’s identity and motive.

Thereafter, the thief destroyed the faucet of the salon to lure the salon owner to fix the faucet, then used the distraction to grab the cellphone of the owner and left.
