Three men, including a minor, were arrested after allegedly taking advantage of a woman in Pateros, Manila.

Based on investigations, as reported by Raffy Tima in GMA 7's "Balitanghali," one of the suspects was the woman's former suitor.

The arrested men who are of legal age denied the accusations made against them.

One of them claimed that he would never do such a thing to the woman because they were in a romantic relationship in the past.

Meanwhile, the minor suspect was already in the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. He also refused to give out any statement about the accusations of the victim against them.

In the Philippines, a child who commits a crime is treated under the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act. If they are 15 years old or younger, they are not punished but are given help through community programs or the DSWD.

Minors aged 15 to below 18 may also avoid punishment if they do not fully understand their actions, but if they do, they must go through counseling, skills training, or rehabilitation. Those who commit serious crimes may be sent to Bahay Pag-Asa, a special center where they are guided and prepared to live better lives.

When police authorities came to inspect what was inside the suitcase, they found a bloated body of a minor girl. According to the police, the body was in fetal position, clothes were intact, but wounds were found on her body.
