Residents of Barangay Iba in Silang, Cavite, made a grim discovery on Sunday morning when they found the lifeless body of a young man along Iba Road.

The incident was first reported by Lusito Santos on Super Radyo dzBB.
According to Silang Police Chief Lt. Col. Louie Gonzaga, authorities were alerted to the scene at approximately 9:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found the victim, an unidentified male, lying motionless with clear signs of foul play.

Initial assessments suggest that the victim was between 19 and 25 years old. He was dressed in a brown t-shirt and black joggers.
One notable identifying mark was a tattoo on his left fingers that spelled out the name "Ben."
Investigators noted that the victim’s hands had been tightly bound behind his back, indicating that he may have been restrained before his death.
Further examination revealed visible injuries consistent with str@ngulation and stab wounds, pointing to a violent attack.
Authorities suspect that the victim was killed in a different location before his body was transported and abandoned along Iba Road.
This theory is based on the lack of significant blood evidence at the scene, suggesting that the crime itself may have taken place elsewhere.
Police are currently conducting an in-depth investigation to identify the victim and uncover the circumstances surrounding his death.
They are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in the case, particularly from individuals who may have seen suspicious activity in the area before the body was discovered.
Law enforcement officials are also checking nearby security cameras and coordinating with local barangay officials to gather more leads.
