A mother and her two young kids in Naga City, Cebu were discovered lifeless by their own neighbors last Monday, January 27.

All three of them bore similar deep wounds on their necks, which might have caused their untimely deaths.
The bodies of the three were found inside their own home.
It was later established by authorities that the mother was 32-years old, while the young victims were 2 and 11 years old.

According to witnesses, they heard loud arguments from inside the house earlier.
When they went to the said house to have a look and see, they were surprised to see the three victims sprawled on the floor with all of them bearing similar neck wounds.
The suspect, which happened to be the live-in partner of the mother and the father of the young victims, was later caught by authorities later in the afternoon.
According to an investigator of the Naga City police, PSSgt. Ariel Yap, the suspect tried to evade them, causing the authorities to shoot him, hitting the suspect on the knee and immobilizing him, allowing the police to implement an arrest.
Recovered from the suspect is what looked like a bolo knife that is 18 inches in diameter.
The suspect, who is also reportedly involved in illegal substances, is now recuperating in the hospital and will be facing a double parricide and murder cases.
