The Filipino policeman, Julius Manalo, has taken to social media to share his side of the story after a video of him, reuniting with his Korean mom, has gone viral.

He narrated on his account @julioenforcer on TikTok that he spent 31 years looking for his mom.

The reunion happened with the help of Korean network TV Chosun, albeit, it took the latter five months before they were finally able to locate his mom.

He also answered netizens about the reunion, and even admitted that he felt like he was six years old again.

Based on his account, he was only six years old at the time he was given to his dad and was told that they would be going to the U.S. for two weeks, and thereafter would return to Korea.

However, such did not happen as he was brought to the Philippines instead.

"Pagyakap ko, nawala lahat ng pagkatao ko, kung ano ako ngayon sa Pilipinas. Parang bumalik ako, 'yung isip kp, 'yung katawan ko, 'yung pakiramdam ko, lahat, noong six years old ako. Feeling ko talaga naging bata ako," he further added.

News, photos or videos that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media, due to the attention netizens give them. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, such could also happen to ordinary people, making them very relatable.

Leslie Lulu Manabat, in her Facebook post, expressed her anger at the assailants who killed both parents of her nephew. She also said that it will be God who will serve justice.
