DILG, nadiskubre umano'y secret hallways sa loob ng cathedral ng KOJC

- Authorities discovered a series of secret hallways at the KOJC Cathedral in Davao City

- In "24 Oras," DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos revealed that the pathways actually led to the room of the pastor

- Abalos also said that the design of the structure makes it difficult for them to effect the arrest of the pastor

- In addition to the secret hallways, laser lights were reportedly used against a police chopper and the fences were said to have live wire

The DILG has discovered a series of secret hallways at the KOJC Cathedral.

According to 24 Oras, DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos showed the secret hallways in the cathedral.

The hallways were said to led to the room of the pastor.

According to Abalos, the intricate systems in the cathedral make it also very hard to capture the pastor.

"Napakahirap sa totoo lang. In fact, kinukuha natin ang plano mismo nito sa office ng engineering ng city ng Davao kung ito ay nakadeklara o hindi," Abalos ntoed.
"Kasi kung hindi nakadeklara ito, it’s a violation. Kapag hindi naka-deklara lahat ng intricate things na ginawa at binuo na puwedeng pagtaguan,” he added.

Among the fugitive pastor’s assets ordered frozen by the court include several bank accounts, real properties, and aircraft. The court also ordered the freezing of a couple of bank accounts of the operator of sonshine Media Network International or SMNI. In an article by the Philippine Star quoting a GMA News report, it revealed the Court of Appeals saying in its order that some of said assets “are linked to to unlawful activities and predicate crimes.”

It can be recalled that Pastor Quiboloy went under the spotlight after a reward was offered to anyone who can give an info about his whereabouts. In the report done by News5, anyone who could provide an info about the wanted pastor will receive the reward. A Php 1,000,000 offer was also put up for Quiboloy's companions as well. Previously, a Davao RTC ordered the arrest of Quiboloy.
