The actor expressed his thoughts in a combination of English and Filipino, pointing to corruption among government officials as an obstacle to achieving similar improvements in the country.

"Could’ve been us kung walang buwaya sa gobyerno," he emphasized.

"Tag mo si JV"

Meanwhile, a different user shared a positive observation about Hong Kong's public services and governance.

"Hahaha mas okay dito hk, ramdam mo gobyerno kahit di ka chinese"

The responses reflected the different perspectives of netizens regarding Jake's remarks, particularly his comparison between the public environment in Hong Kong and the situation in the Philippines.

While his original post focused on the features he noticed during his running activity, his statement about government corruption became a major point of discussion among those who reacted to his update.

In another report, Vice Ganda brought up Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa’s widely discussed Senate incident during an episode of “It’s Showtime.” The comedian poked fun at reports that the senator had hurried through the Senate corridors and nearly lost his footing near a staircase. His remarks, which included a made-up situation involving co-host Anne Curtis, drew loud laughter from the audience. The footage of the senator’s movements circulated online amid reports of an attempted arrest related to the International Criminal Court investigation.

Meanwhile, Agot Isidro voiced her disapproval of the 13 senators who supported replacing Tito Sotto as Senate President with Alan Peter Cayetano. In a strongly worded social media post, the actress referred to the lawmakers as “13 Satanas sa Senado.” She also made remarks about Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa following reports of an attempted arrest by the National Bureau of Investigation within the Senate premises. Agot further called on the public to back calls concerning due process, impeachment, and constitutional accountability.
