- One wake will be done at the place where the late beauty queen grew up while the other wake will be held near a memorial chapel

- Previously, Lopez and her boyfriend, Yitshak Cohen, were said to have sustained gunshot wounds

The body of Geneva Lopez, the missing beauty queen from Pampanga, has finally been cremated on a Saturday evening.

In a report done by ABS-CBN News, the wake of the late beauty queen is currently being held in Pampanga.

On the same report, it was revealed that Lopez's family has arrived at the place where she grew up to extend their condolences and sympathies.

Previously, in a report done by GMA Integrated News, both Lopez and her Israeli boyfriend sustained two gunshot wounds.

According to NBI Director Jaime Santiago, Lopez had gunshots at the back of her torso, as well as her thigh while her partner sustained wounds on his chest.

Meanwhile, in an earlier report done by Philstar, the bodies of Lopez and Yitshak Cohen were found in Capas, Tarlac.

Operatives of the CIDG or the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group found the corpses in a lot in Barangay Sta. Lucia.

As previously reported by KAMI, authorities now have a CCTV that could possibly help in the case of the student who was found dead in La Union. The parents of the slain student are asking for justice and are seeking the help of authorities in solving the case. According to the report of GMA News, authorities were looking at three possible angles. They were also looking at the places where the car made stops.

Meanwhile, the parents of Mark Dave Valdez have cried for justice in their latest interview. Previously, the body of Mark was found in Bacnotan, La Union, by a truck driver. Apparently, the body sustained ice pick injuries and was burned eventually. In the interview, Mark's mother, Emidy, said, "Ang bait bait ng anak ko ginanun lang."
