Nadine Lustre gave an honest and lighthearted glimpse into her views on romance during her recent interview with veteran journalist Karen Davila, where she reflected on love, past relationships, and her current relationship with businessman Christophe Bariou.

During the conversation, Karen playfully hinted at Nadine’s history of being romantically linked to an on-screen partner but stopped short of directly asking whether the actress could fall in love with another leading man in the future.
“I’m not going to ask you if you can fall in love with your [on-screen] partner—” Karen began.
Nadine immediately responded with laughter and a candid remark that referenced her past relationship with actor James Reid, who was both her love team partner and former boyfriend.

“Wag na! Alam mo naman yan, nangyari na yan! Wag na nating ulitin!” Nadine replied.
The actress then explained that she no longer sees herself entering into that kind of situation again, emphasizing that she is genuinely happy with her current relationship.
“It’s not possible naman but I’m very happy with where I’m at,” she said.
Nadine then made a surprisingly frank admission about how she views her future when it comes to romance.
“Eto talaga, taga niyo sa bato, if Chris and I break up, ayoko ng magjowa.”
She admitted that she has grown tired of romantic relationships and believes her current one could very well be her last.
“Pagod na ako. But really, I told myself that. If this is not the last relationship that I will have, I’m probably going to be single for the rest of my life,” she added.
