Arnold Clavio begins therapy after suffering from stroke

Broadcaster and television host Arnold Clavio took to social media to share updates about his health after suffering from a hemorrhagic stroke days ago.

Clavio, who is admitted at St. Luke’s Medical Center, opened up about how the stroke has affected his body. He also shared the treatments and therapies he had to undergo to restore his strength, balance, coordination, and to prevent another stroke from occuring. Likewise, he uploaded clips from his physical therapy session and occupational therapy session.

Clavio wrote:

Ayon kay Dr. Greg Dayrit , neurologist , kailangan ko ng 6 na linggong pahinga , rehabilitasyon at therapy , para manumbalik ang dati kong lakas at kilos .

Kaya pagbaba ko sa regular room , sa pangunguna ni Dr. Lyde Alday-Magpantay , espesyalista sa Physica Medicine and Rehabilitation , sinumulan ang aking therapy .

Kabilang dito ang mga maliliit na pagkilos sa mga braso , kamay , binti at paa .

Dahil sa pagdurugo ng kaliwang bahagi ng aking utak , dulot ng altapresyon , naging mahina ang kanang bahagi ng aking katawan . Sinubukan kong humakbang pero umiikot ang aking paligid at muntik-muntikan ako na mabuwal . Wala pa rin akong balanse .

Kailangan ding maibaba pa ang aking blood pressure at sugar para di na maulit ang pagputok sa aking utak . Kaya sinimulan na rin ang akong turukan ng insulin at mga gamot sa blood pressure at pagbaba ng cholesterol

Arnold Clavio is a Kapuso broadcaster. He is also popularly known as "Igan." He has risen to prominence in the broadcasting field and is now one of the most sought-after broadcasters in the country.

In an earlier report, Arnold took to Instagram and said that he was hurt by the way that Alex Gonzaga treated the waiter in the viral video. The GMA News broadcaster revealed that he was once a waiter, which is why he has high respect for them. He narrated that he worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken Roxas Boulevard from 1985-1987. For Arnold, Alex wrongly treated the waiter, considering that the video showed that the waiter could be seen as allegedly feeling hurt, shame and insulted.

Previously, Arnold and Susan Enriquez’s reactions to an unexpected occurrence in an Unang Hirit’s news report went viral. The said report is from field reporter Bam Alegre who did a coverage on COVID-19 vaccination program in San Juan City. Anchor Arnold then asked a follow-up question, however, Bam turned his back and left the former’s question unanswered. Arnold and Susan, who were at the studio, were then caught being puzzled by what happened.
