Earning a college degree is a huge milestone for anyone, and Xian Lim is over the moon after finally holding his own diploma in his hands.
Taking to his Instagram account under his handle @xianlimm, the versatile star dropped a series of photos from his graduation day at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). In the one of the photos, Xian looked incredibly sharp in a green suit while smiling and pointing at his graduation cap.

The actor admitted that the day felt completely surreal to him, and that he didn't imagine it would come.
"Never in a million years did I imagine this day would come," Xian wrote honestly in his caption. "Today isn’t just about earning a diploma. It’s a reminder that life doesn’t always follow the timeline we imagine... and that’s okay. Sometimes the detours become the very roads that lead us where we’re meant to be."

Xian also shared a proud moment from the stage, where he donned his graduation gown and points happily to his diploma from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. In another shot, the Filipino actor can be seen sitting comfortably on an outdoor bench, flashing a bright smile while holding his hard-earned degree.
He made sure to thank the entire community that supported him throughout his academic journey.
"To all my mentors, professors, classmates, and everyone I crossed paths with at Benilde, thank you," he shared warmly. "Every conversation, every lesson, every challenge, and every bit of encouragement became part of this journey. You helped make this moment possible."
During the graduation ceremony, he mentioned how a quote from Barack Obama also stayed with him.
"During our commencement, a quote from Barack Obama stayed with me: “Be useful. Be kind.”" Xian bared. "The older I get, the more I realize that success isn’t measured only by what we achieve, but by how we make other people feel and the impact we leave behind... If we can wake up each day asking how we can make someone else’s life a little better, I think we’re already living a meaningful life."

To close his inspiring post, Xian left a beautiful piece of encouragement for anyone who might be struggling with their own life timelines.

For 2026, Xian wishes to become a "better version" of himself by pushing out of his comfort zone.
Meanwhile, in 2025, Xian Lim reflected on his journey of becoming a pilot and shared memorable photos from his training. The actor-turned-pilot admitted that ground school and earning his Private Pilot License pushed him to his limits but taught him discipline. He went on to achieve his Commercial Pilot License and Instrument Rating despite the difficult challenges. Xian said his journey is far from over.
