Leobert Dasmariñas, bagsak sa lie detector test na isinagawa ng NBI

- Leobert Dasmariñas has failed the lie detector test that was administered to him by the NBI, as per Radyo Bandera PH's report

- The result, according to the NBI Special Investigator was positive

- This means that there was deception in relevant questions that were given to him

- He then categorically said that it would mean that he was lying

Leobert Dasmariñas, one of the suspects in the assault and killing of Jovelyn Galleno, failed at the lie detector test or the polygraph test that he underwent.

The test was administered by the NBI and a portion of the said test was even shared online by Radyo Bandera PH.

A reporter of Radyo Bandera asked NBI Special Investigator Cedric Caabay regarding the test.

"Pag sinabing positive may mga deception po dun sa relevant questions na ginawa ng ating mga examiner," explained Caabay.

"Ang suma total po sa kanyang polygraph ay nagsasabing nagsisinungaling siya, hindi siya nagsasabi ng totoo," said Caabay.

Leobert was the suspect who pointed at another suspect, Jovert Valdestamon, and alleged that the latter was actually the mastermind behind the assault and killing of their cousin Jovelyn.

Jovelyn Gallano is a 22-year-old employee working in a mall in Palawan. She went missing on August 5. According to her sister, her employer said that Jovelyn already signed out from her work around 6:30 p.m. on that day. She was still able to send a message to her sister but she wasn’t able to go home anymore.

Leobert Dasmariñas was intended to be subjected to a lie detector test by Sen. Raffy Tulfo. At the time, the senator expressed it would help determine whether he is telling the truth or not with regards to his pronouncements on the case of Jovelyn. Sen. Tulfo said that if the result of the lie detector test would show that Leobert does not have any hand in the assault and killing of Jovelyn, then they will continue to help him. However, in case it turns out that Leobert is lying, they will cease all help.

A video of the mother and sister of Jovelyn Galleno has gone viral. They were left in tears after the DNA examination result was revealed to them by the PNP. The mother of Jovelyn was wiping her tears as she was on her way out of the police office where they came to know of the results. PNP has already confirmed that the skull and bones, initially suspected to be that of Jovelyn's, were actually hers.
