Yeng Constantino and Gloc-9 are set to join the upcoming season of "The Voice Kids Philippines" as the newest coaches, marking a new chapter in the hit singing competition. In a report by Aubrey Carampel on "24 Oras" on Thursday, July 16, Yeng and Gloc-9 spoke about their excitement over becoming part of the show's coaching panel and mentoring the next generation of Filipino performers.

For Yeng, the opportunity is a dream come true and something she has long hoped to experience under GMA Network. The singer-songwriter said serving as a coach on the franchise has always been one of her career goals.

"Siyempre po bilang isang mang-aawit, 'yung maging coach ka ng The Voice, isa 'yan sa mga checklist na gusto mong magawa sa iyong career and I'm just so grateful na ibinigay ito ng Panginoon in his right time."

Meanwhile, Gloc-9 shared that while he will serve as a mentor to the contestants, he also expects to gain valuable lessons from the experience. The award-winning rapper said he looks forward to learning from his fellow coaches, as well as from the talented young singers they will meet during the competition.

"Siguro kahit tawag nila sa akin coach dito, I'm sure marami akong matutunan sa aking mga fellow coaches, siyempre si Julie, si Yeng and 'yung mae-encounter and mami-meet naming mga batang singers."

Julie Anne San Jose, who is entering her fourth year as a coach in "The Voice Philippines" franchise, also shared some advice for her new fellow coaches. She said the experience can be deeply emotional because of the strong connection they develop with the young contestants throughout the competition.

"Be ready kasi ano siya, mind heart and soul talagang apektado ka. As in it's a great experience pero nakakakaba but at the same time ano siya paglalaruan 'yung emosyon mo especially we're dealing with kids."

Julie Anne San Jose is a celebrated Filipina singer, songwriter, actress, and host. She first rose to fame as a child contestant on "Popstar Kids" in 2005, later joining the singing group Sugarpop and becoming a regular performer on GMA's variety shows. As an actress and TV host, Julie Anne has starred in several drama series, including "My Guitar Princess," "Buena Familia," "Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa," and, most notably, as Maria Clara in the acclaimed "Maria Clara at Ibarra." She also served as a host for the singing competition "The Clash" and as a coach on "The Voice Kids."

Julie Anne is set to release a new love song inspired by her boyfriend, Rayver Cruz. In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" on July 1, Julie Anne revealed that she wrote the song while recovering from an illness. As melodies came to her during that time, she started writing them down until they eventually became a complete track. She added that the song is especially meaningful to her because of the personal inspiration behind it.

Previously, Julie Anne addressed questions about Elmo Magalona during her guest appearance on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" alongside her boyfriend, Rayver. The singer-actress responded after Boy Abunda shared that Elmo hopes to work with her again and brought up the long-standing rumors linking the two. Julie Anne clarified the true nature of their relationship at the time while expressing her admiration for Elmo and his talent. The two previously built a strong fan following through their "JuliElmo" love team in several GMA Network projects.
