Herlene Budol finally talked in public about the rumor that she has been offered to co-host TAPE Inc.’s ‘Eat Bulaga’ on GMA.

In a report by the Inquirer, Herlene revealed that she declined the offer from TAPE Inc. due to scheduling conflicts with her prior commitments. However, she is open to hosting the show if her schedule opens up in the future.

“Sa tamang panahon naman po ‘yan, eh. May mga bagay naman po siguro na kung para sa ‘yo, para sa ‘yo,” Herlene said.

As for Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey De Leon, and the rest of the original Dabarkads leaving ‘Eat Bulaga,’ Herlene shared that she cried over the news because she has been a fan of ‘Eat Bulaga’ since her childhood.

“Siyempre, simula nu’ng bata ho ako… nandiyan na sila. So, nu’ng nawala sila, umiyak ho ako,” Herlene revealed.

It was reported earlier by CNN Philippines that the original Dabarkads led by TVJ have found a new home at TV5. They will be getting the 12-noon timeslot of TV5, which led to ‘It’s Showtime’ leaving the network and moving to GMA’s GTV, as reported by Rappler.

Herlene Nicole Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
