James Reid gave newlyweds Dariz Kho and Emman Pelayo an unforgettable wedding surprise when he unexpectedly appeared at their reception in Amadeo, Cavite.

The couple was celebrating at Ad Meliora Countryside Garden when the singer suddenly walked through the doors, took the microphone, and performed a special set for them. Dariz and Emman had no idea that James would be part of their wedding celebration.
The surprise was arranged as James’ personal gift to the newlyweds. His performance featured songs from his third studio album, Honey, I'm Home, including its title track and “Attention.” The album was released on September 10, making the wedding performance one of his early live appearances connected to the record.
James explained that the opportunity came together at the right time after learning more about the couple’s story.

"It's not something I usually get to do, but the timing just lined up this time," James shares.
The singer also said he was happy to contribute to the couple’s special day after hearing about their relationship.
"Hearing Dariz and Emman's story, I was glad I could be a small part of their day. Seeing how happy they were honestly made my night too. I wish them nothing but the best in this next chapter together."
Dariz and Emman’s relationship began in a setting that would later become central to their wedding. The two first met at the Camp Aguinaldo Tennis Court after discovering that they shared the same tennis coach.
Their relationship eventually grew, with the couple officially becoming boyfriend and girlfriend on January 7, 2024. They later got engaged on September 29, 2025.
Tennis remained an important part of their relationship, so it also became the inspiration for their wedding. The celebration followed a Wimbledon-inspired theme, with guests dressed in white and green while the reception venue featured a glass garden pavilion overlooking the Cavite countryside.
James’ unexpected appearance added another memorable moment to the celebration as he performed for the newlyweds, their families, and their guests.
