Actor-comedian Jerald Napoles believes that spending quality time together remains an important part of maintaining a strong relationship, even after marriage.

Napoles, who is married to actress and singer Kim Molina, shared that he deliberately finds opportunities to spend time with his wife whenever their demanding schedules allow it. The couple recently appeared as the newest endorsers of Botejyu, where Napoles opened up about how they continue to make time for each other.
“Sakto, hindi ako na-call sa taping. Kapag gano’n, automatic nagyaya ako sine,” Napoles said during the event.
His current work schedule leaves him with limited free time. He explained that he is taping for “Sigabo” every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while working on a movie on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

“Kasi I’m taping for ‘Sigabo’ Monday, Wednesday, Friday, tapos a movie Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. So sakto, kapag wala akong taping, automatic gagawa ako ng lakad kay Kim,” he added.
For Napoles, however, spending quality time with Molina does not require expensive plans or elaborate dates. Even watching a movie and sharing a simple meal can already become meaningful moments for the couple.
Molina also recalled one memorable experience that showed how their ordinary moments can turn into something entertaining.
“Nagugulat kami na date pala ‘yun. Meron siya ginagawa parang pelikula pa din. Natanggal sintas ko habang umuulan tapos lumuhod siya bigla para itali,” Molina shared.
The seemingly sweet moment came with a humorous twist when Molina realized that Napoles had been recording the incident.
“Tapos nakita ko vi-video pala — ginawa content,” she jokingly added.
Despite their busy careers, Napoles said he also does not get tired of being around his wife. He admitted that there are moments when he suddenly realizes they have not spent enough time together, prompting him to seek her company.
“Kapag ’di kami magkasama, when I realize, tagal na ako lang mag-isa. Minsan pupuntahan ko barkada sa gym, it’s a boy group. Ma-realize ko, ‘Oo nga, no, tagal na pala na kami lang magkasama ni Kimmy,’ pero ’di ako nagsawa,” he explained.
For Napoles, their time together is valuable not simply because they are married, but because they genuinely enjoy each other’s company and conversations.
“Appreciate ko ’yun kasi marami kasi kami pinag-uusapan.”
