The two personalities were among those who paid tribute to Bobet as his family, friends, and other guests gathered to remember his life. Photos from the memorial were shared by Sen. Robin Padilla on his Facebook account, showing Mariel and BB standing alongside members of the Baterbonia family.
In his post, Robin expressed his appreciation for his wife’s effort to attend the gathering and honor Bobet’s family.

The memorial served as another moment of remembrance for Bobet, who passed away at the age of 19 following a drowning incident during a team-building activity involving the Ateneo men’s basketball team in Dipaculao, Aurora, on June 8.
Nigerian athlete Divine Adili, 21, also lost his life in the same tragic incident.
Following Bobet’s passing, several public figures visited his wake in Manila to extend their condolences to his grieving family. Among those who showed their support were actors Gerald Anderson and Claudine Barretto.
Other personalities, including Gary Valenciano, Gretchen Ho, and Regine Velasquez, also shared their sadness over the incident and called for transparency as details surrounding the tragedy continued to be discussed.
The 40-day memorial in Agusan del Sur became another opportunity for loved ones and supporters to come together, remember Bobet’s contributions, and offer continued support to his family during their time of mourning.
