“Gusto ko rin mapag-usapan ’to, kunwari nasa showbiz ganyan, nag-asawa na tapos daming nagtatanong bakit daw hindi uli gumawa ng project together, mga ganyan, work lang naman daw ‘yun. Buti na nga lang kami ni Tine we both agreed. It’s our own personal conviction na ayaw na naming makatrabaho ‘yung mga ex namin sa totoo lang,” Oyo shared.

He said the choice reflects the respect they have for one another and the boundaries they have established in their relationship.

Oyo also explained why they believe accepting projects with former partners could become problematic, particularly when scripts involve intimate scenes.

“Kasi number one, it’s dangerous kasi syempre kung kunwari lagyan kayo ng bed scene, kissing scene, parang ako sa asawa ko ayoko naman nakikita na may kahalikan na ibang lalaki ’yung asawa ko,” he said.

For the couple, avoiding such situations is a way of maintaining peace of mind and honoring the commitment they made to each other after getting married.
