Celebrity entrepreneur Sam Verzosa made it clear that he no longer wants to publicly discuss his past relationship with actress Rhian Ramos, saying he believes it is time to let the issue rest out of respect for his former partner.

Verzosa spoke to members of the entertainment press, including ABS-CBN News, during an event at Frontrow Headquarters on Wednesday, where he also showed his support for P-pop groups Chicser, BILIB, and 6ENSE. Although the event centered on the performers, questions about his breakup with Ramos once again surfaced.
The businessman admitted he now feels uncomfortable repeatedly talking about the relationship because several months have already passed since their separation.
“Nahihiya na nga ako sa kanya (Ramos). It’s been months. Sabi ko nga kay Tito Boy (Abunda), huling beses ko nang pag-uusapan. Nakakahiya. Baka sabihin, wala tayong [respeto]. Medyo matagal na. Parang binubuhay pa natin ‘yung wala na.”

He emphasized that ending discussions about their breakup is also his way of showing respect.
“Tapos na ‘yun, eh. Respeto ko na rin ‘yun sa kanya.”
Despite trying to avoid the topic, Verzosa honestly admitted that recovering from the breakup has been a difficult journey. He shared that moving on is still a work in progress.
“Hindi pa nga, eh. Hindi naman basta-basta ‘yun. Nasa proseso pa ‘yun.”
When asked what he misses the most about Ramos, Verzosa gave a brief but heartfelt answer.
“‘Yung pagmamahal niya.”
Looking back on the relationship, he also maintained that he did everything he could to save it before it came to an end.
“I did everything. I gave it my all. Inilaban ko hanggang dulo.”
Apart from opening up about his healing process, Verzosa also addressed rumors circulating on social media claiming that he quickly entered a new relationship with an influencer after his breakup.
He firmly denied the allegations and said he was surprised by how such stories spread online.
“Wala talaga ‘yun. Kalokohan ‘yun. Hindi naman ako basta-basta pumapatol at gagawa ng mga ganoong bagay. Nagulat ako kung saan galing ‘yun. Kahit sino puwedeng magsalita at puwedeng sakyan.”
Verzosa stressed that he has no reason to hide the truth about his personal life and insisted he has always been transparent whenever there is something worth confirming.
“Hindi ko kailangang magsinungaling. I tell it as it is. Kapag wala, wala. Kung mayroon, mayroon.”
He ended by appealing to social media users to stop creating stories about him, saying there is nothing left for him to prove following the end of his relationship.
“Wala talaga ‘yun. Lahat inaamin ko. I don’t need to lie. Hiwalay na kami. Ano pang kailangan kong patunayan?”
Sam Verzosa is a Filipino businessman, philanthropist, and politician who co-founded the health and beauty multi-level marketing company Frontrow International. A licensed civil engineer from the University of the Philippines Diliman, he expanded his profile into public service and media, serving as a representative for the Tutok To Win Party-List from 2022 to 2025 and hosting the public service television series Dear SV.
In another report, Sam Verzosa revealed that he and Rhian Ramos had already talked about getting married before they eventually ended their relationship. The businessman clarified that their breakup had nothing to do with politics or his 2025 mayoral campaign. He also expressed appreciation for Rhian's unwavering support during one of the most challenging chapters of his life. Reflecting on the experience, Sam said he realized that love by itself is not always enough to make a relationship last.
Meanwhile, Sam Verzosa responded to allegations connecting him to the controversy involving Rhian Ramos and Michelle Dee during his guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on June 22. He explained that the issue surfaced only after his breakup with Rhian and emphasized that he has no personal knowledge of the case. Sam also denied claims that he appeared in photos allegedly linked to the controversy. Although he admitted knowing Rhian's former driver and helping him in the past, he chose not to discuss the matter further.
