“For me, mentally, mahirap siya.

The actress shared that those thoughts lingered until she eventually rediscovered the reason she entered show business in the first place. Instead of focusing on whether she was the lead star or a supporting actress, she realized that acting itself had always been her greatest passion.

“Out of passion nga pala yung ginagawa ko. Gusto ko nga palang umarte. So, kahit bigyan mo ako ng kontrabida, as long as nare-release ko yung pagmamahal ko sa acting—yun ang habol ko pala.”

Looking back at her childhood, Kris said acting had always been her dream.

“Sobrang hilig kong umarte.

Charo Cordial, however, quickly disagreed with Kris's assessment, saying she had already reached a career peak, particularly during the height of her popular love team with fellow StarStruck graduate Aljur Abrenica.

Despite everything she experienced in show business, Kris said she now considers herself fulfilled because of the family she has built and the unwavering support of her husband.

She also shared that her priorities have naturally shifted over the years.

Kris was last seen as an actress in GMA Afternoon Prime's House of Lies and continues to appear as one of the hosts of the daily variety program TiktoClock.
