Anthony Jennings reflects on past mistakes, says fame once changed him

Kapamilya actor Anthony Jennings opened up about the lessons he learned after facing controversies and admitted that fame had once influenced his behavior.

During a recent episode of the podcast "Think Talk Tea," the "Nurse the Dead" star acknowledged that there were moments when he noticed changes in himself as his career became busier.

“Oo naman. Well hindi naman siguro na sobra na kung ano yung inimagine niyo na mayabang. Pero, may mga times na nakikita ko na parang nag bago ako. Siguro, yung schedule. May mga hindi ako sinsipot talaga,” he admitted.

Jennings recalled that he used to skip simple gatherings because he believed he was too occupied, something he now considers unprofessional.

“Parang inisip ko masyado akong busy para diyan pero kaya mo naman gawan ng time, di ba? So parang yun yung mga maliliit ng bagay,” he expressed.

The actor said he has since worked on changing himself and has become more aware of his actions.

“Ngayon, wala na yun. Binabago ko na yung sarili ko. Ngayon, medyo mas ano na ako feeling ko, self-aware na ako,” he added.

To help himself grow, Jennings said he stepped away from social media and reconnected with friends outside show business and with his family.

“Binigyan ko muna ng time yung sarili ko para mas maintindihan ko talaga kung ano yung mga naging problema ko before. Sinettle ko siya isa-isa talaga,” he said.

Jennings shared that he is grateful for the experience because it reminded him of what truly matters.

“Masaya ako na napagdaanan ko yun kasi marami na akong nakakalimutan that time na napaalala sa akin ng mga kasama ko sa buhay,” he continued.
