According to reports and social media posts, Andres participated in the event together with his father, veteran actor Aga Muhlach, making the experience both competitive and meaningful for the family.

Despite it being his first race, Andres managed to secure a fifth-place finish in his category, earning praise from supporters and fellow participants. His achievement quickly became a highlight of the event, especially given his newcomer status in the sport.

In a message addressed to Andres, Aga said:

“First race podium! Just keep on riding and appreciate the community! Congrats, Andres!”

He further added:

“But more than anything, you’ve got a good heart. Keep it that way. God is good.”

Aga also joined the race himself and finished 11th place out of 54 bikers, showing that cycling runs in the family.

He described the experience positively, saying:

“Saya to have raced with friends and my son who made it to the podium naman sa age [category] niya. Saya! What more can I ask for,”

He also added:

“Salamat , Lord sa pagkakataong ito! Sana maulit.”

Supportive mother Charlene Gonzalez was also present, cheering for Andres during the event. The Muhlach family’s participation highlighted not only athletic effort but also strong family bonding.
