The exchange took a humorous turn when an orange was presented to her.
When asked what the fruit was, Malia answered, "Orange." However, Pokwang responded by saying that it was not an orange.
Pokwang then jokingly referred to the fruit as "Sharmaine."
As the conversation continued, Malia repeatedly answered "Orange" whenever she was asked about the fruit. Pokwang, meanwhile, continued to insist on the name "Sharmaine."
At one point, Pokwang said, "Si Sharmaine yan." She later added, "Yun ang name niya. Nagpalit na siya ng name. Na-notary na yan."
The actress continued using the name "Sharmaine" while speaking with Malia, turning the moment into a playful back-and-forth between the two.
Despite initially sticking to her answer, Malia eventually echoed the name being repeated to her.
Near the end of the video, Pokwang once again asked her what the fruit was. This time, Malia answered, "Sharmaine."
The response prompted laughter and served as the punchline of the exchange, as Malia had correctly identified the fruit as an orange several times earlier in the clip.
Many viewers found the interaction entertaining, particularly because of the natural banter between mother and daughter throughout the short video.
