Even after moving to another network, Pokwang’s heart remains soft when it comes to ABS-CBN. The beloved comedienne recently took to Instagram to express her deep gratitude and support for ABS-CBN as the network navigates new challenges and "PR attacks."

Pokwang shared a photo from a "TFC OG people and OG Babies reunion," where she was seen smiling alongside top network executives. "Thank you TFC thank you sir EL, CVV and sir CK at sir ML," she wrote, specifically mentioning the leaders who have steered the company through its toughest years.

The actress emphasized how important the management's decisions have been for the rank-and-file workers.

She thanked them for "paninindigan na wag mawalan ng work mga kaibigan at kapamilya na halos 4k kung magkataon."

For Pokwang, the fight to keep the network alive is really a fight for the thousands of families who depend on it. Her message of solidarity comes at a crucial time. ABS-CBN recently released an official statement defending itself against "PR attacks" regarding its retirement funds and internal family disputes.

Like many other stars, Pokwang chose to focus on the network's commitment to its people.

Pokwang is a well-known comedian, actress, and TV host in the Philippines. Before entering showbiz, she worked as an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Japan and as a domestic helper in Abu Dhabi—experiences that shaped her strong and resilient personality. She rose to fame after joining the ABS-CBN reality talent show segment Clown in A Million in 2004, where she was declared grand champion, paving the way for her entry into sitcoms. At present, Pokwang is a talent of the Kapuso Network after transferring to GMA-7 in 2021.

As previously reported by KAMI in 2025, Pokwang praised the film UnMarry for its well-written story and the excellent performances of its cast. The comedian commended Angelica Panganiban, Zanjoe Marudo, and Eugene Domingo for their portrayals. Angelica commented to thank Pokwang for supporting their project. Pokwang also shared that viewers could learn a lot about the legal aspects of annulment from the movie.

Meanwhile, in the same year, Pokwang confirmed that the man involved in a viral Facebook video was in fact her brother. She apologized to the family, especially to the child involved, and promised to visit them afterward. She clarified that she does not tolerate her brother’s mistake and that it should not be associated with her or their entire family. She also reminded the public about the dangers of cyberbullying as well.
