During the TV5 and TRUE FM “Red Hot Kapatid Summer” event in San Juan, La Union, the actress spoke warmly in an interview about Bea and their enduring friendship.
“Ang ganda ng friendship ko with my friends (in showbiz). They always say before, like, it’s hard daw to have friends in the business. I disagree kasi kami nga nila Angel Locsin, 18 years. Bea and I, we’ve been friends since, I think 25 years na,” she said.
She recalled that they met at a young age while working on the series “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay,” and said their bond has remained strong despite their separate careers and personal lives.

“Of course, marami siyang na-sha-share, but yung pag-sha-share niya parang siya na lang mag-sha-share sa inyo. Haha! Baka magalit naman sa akin at ma-friendship over pa kami, But you know in terms of my friends, Bea, I don’t think she would mind if I share. But of course, as a friend, hindi mo naman gagawin yun, di ba?” she said.
“I just want you to know that she’s so happy, and I think yun lang naman ang gusto mo bilang friend,” she added.
