KC Concepcion publicly celebrated a major milestone in her family as she honored her mother, Sharon Cuneta, and stepfather, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, on their 30th wedding anniversary.

On Instagram, KC posted a collection of family photos featuring her siblings Frankie, Miel, and Miguel, highlighting cherished moments throughout the years. In her message, she expressed gratitude for the couple’s enduring relationship.
“Happy anniversary, KiWie. 30 years deserves an award, well earned!🥇 Thank you for all the love, the lessons, and for always doing your best for each other all these years. Mom and Dad, with all my love 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 @reallysharoncuneta @kiko.pangilinan,” she wrote.
Her tribute came shortly after she spoke about her personal experiences growing up in a blended family during an interview. KC shared that understanding her place within both sides of her family took time and maturity.

“I would like to respect the actual families, my mom has with my Dad — I used to call him Tito Francis, but I call him Dad [now] — and my Papa and Tita Gen [Genevieve Gonzales]. I want to be sensitive about acknowledging that that’s their family now,” she said.
She acknowledged the complexities of her situation and how acceptance helped her move forward.
“There will always be blurred lines, but when I accepted the reality of my position and the reality of the setup, and naintindihan ko na ‘yung side ng stepparents ko na tao lang din sila,” she explained.
Reflecting on her growth, KC added,
“I’m so appreciative because it’s not about belonging and being an outsider or not; it’s just the realization, acceptance, and understanding of that world that was a breakthrough for me. I love this unique situation I’m placed in, and I hope I make it right.”
Meanwhile, Pangilinan shared his own thoughts on maintaining a long-lasting relationship.
“Every day dapat you make an effort. It’s your decision to keep it alive na tuloy tuloy ang ligawan, kahit in small way,” he said.
KC Concepcion is a Filipino actress, singer, and humanitarian known for being the daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion. Aside from her work in film and television, she has also taken on advocacy roles, serving as an ambassador for international organizations such as the United Nations World Food Programme and WWF Philippines.
In a separate update, KC shared that her relationship with her mother has become stronger over the years. She explained that learning to communicate more openly helped prevent misunderstandings and eased past tensions. She also said she has reconnected with her father to express her appreciation as she reflects on her life and growth. According to KC, her desire to build her own family has pushed her to resolve old issues and embrace a more peaceful outlook.
Meanwhile, on her show “KC After Hours,” KC also spoke about the resilience often associated with Filipinos. She observed that many grow up learning to endure difficulties, including hunger, at an early age, and questioned why such resilience is frequently expected rather than addressed.
